Exxacon Smart Living, a leading property developer based in Málaga with a national presence, has appointed Carolina Sánchez as its new Director of Operations, a newly created role through which the company is strengthening its structure at a time of particular dynamism and growth. This appointment is in line with Exxacon’s growth objectives, underpinned by organisational strength, reinforcing its prominent position in the property market and driving greater operational, technical and strategic capacity to deliver on its roadmap for the coming years.
Carolina Sánchez is a civil engineer and has over 20 years’ experience in property development, construction, residential development, town planning management and land investment analysis. Throughout her career, she has held senior positions in companies within the property and construction sectors, leading residential projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and contributing to the improvement of internal processes related to property development.
Before joining Exxacon, Sánchez held the position of Costa del Sol Regional Manager at AEDAS Homes and, prior to that, Regional Technical Director, where she was responsible for land management and the analysis of new investment opportunities in Málaga.
“This appointment reflects Exxacon’s aim of achieving sustained growth in an orderly manner and with a long-term vision. The company is entering a new phase with a significant portfolio of projects and a strategic plan that requires us to continue bringing in talent, technical expertise and management skills. Carolina’s experience will be key to supporting this growth and strengthening our position as a leading residential developer,” says Elena Cuberos, managing director of Exxacon.
“Me incorporo a Exxacon en un momento especialmente ilusionante para la compañía, con el reto de contribuir a escalar y fortalecer una organización que ya cuenta con una identidad muy reconocible en el mercado. El objetivo es acompañar el crecimiento con procesos más integrados, una visión técnica más transversal y una mayor capacidad para anticiparnos a las necesidades del sector y de nuestros clientes”, afirma Carolina Sánchez, directora de Operaciones de Exxacon.
“I am joining Exxacon at a particularly exciting time for the company, with the challenge of helping to scale up and strengthen an organisation that already has a highly recognisable identity in the market. The aim is to support this growth with more integrated processes, a more cross-functional technical approach and a greater ability to anticipate the needs of the sector and our clients,” says Carolina Sánchez, Director of Operations at Exxacon.
The creation of the Operations department comes at a key moment for Exxacon, which is currently rolling out its strategic plan up to 2032. The company plans to invest a total of 860 million euros over the coming years, deliver 1,600 homes by 2029 and allocate 100 million euros to land acquisitions between 2026 and 2029 to drive new developments in its main markets.
In this context, the appointment of Carolina Sánchez addresses the need to support growth with a more robust structure, more integrated processes and greater capacity for technical oversight and foresight.
