Exxacon Smart Living, a leading Málaga-based residential developer with a national presence, has commenced construction of Olivara Living, a development of 60 homes in Alhaurín de la Torre, Málaga, representing an investment of €20.5 million by the company. Work has begun simultaneously on both phases of the development, which has already sold 24 homes, representing 40% of the total. The first homes are expected to be handed over in the final quarter of 2029.
Construction follows the launch of sales for the second phase last March. The positive market response has enabled work to begin with a significant proportion of the homes already sold, reflecting the strong interest the development has generated among buyers.
Olivara Living will comprise one-, two- and three-bedroom homes in a variety of layouts, including apartments, penthouses and ground-floor properties with private gardens. All homes will include a parking space and storage room, alongside communal facilities designed to enhance residents’ quality of life. These will include an adult swimming pool, a children’s pool and a gym, all set within a private residential environment. This approach reflects the company’s Smart Living concept, which focuses on creating functional, comfortable and energy-efficient homes.

The start of construction at Olivara Living forms part of Exxacon’s continued growth strategy in Málaga province, where the company maintains a sustained programme of residential development. Other key milestones include the start of construction at Alura Living Casares Costa last July, the forthcoming start of construction at Isidora Living Las Mesas in Estepona, and the planned launch of sales for Onyria Living, also in Estepona, towards the end of this year. Through these developments, Exxacon is expanding its presence across several municipalities in Málaga province and strengthening its residential offering to meet a range of needs and lifestyles.
This growth is underpinned by an in-depth understanding of the local market. By 2029, Exxacon expects to invest €294.3 million in the province and deliver nine residential developments, further consolidating Málaga’s position as one of its key markets. Across Andalucía as a whole, the company’s planned investment amounts to €421.2 million, covering the development of 12 schemes comprising more than 1,300 homes.
